    This piece is an original licensed Fritz Hansen piece.

    The PK9’s unique shape is characterised by three pieces of satinbrushed stainless spring steel that act as a column, carrying the leather seating element. Poul Kjærholm was inspired by a sand imprint of his wife’s behind from a day at the beach. Later, during the design process, Hanne Kjærholm sat in boxes of clay to find the most optimal and comfortable solution.

    The PK9™ is a fully upholstered chair in a limited range of leather types. The 3-legged base is made of satin brushed stainless spring steel. The inner shell is made of nylon.
