With its expressive and sculptural form, My Own Chair by Flemming Lassen was ahead of its time when first introduced to the world in 1938. Its complex two-part silhouette made it unsuitable for mass production at the time and it wasn’t until the advent of modern craftmanship techniques that the distinctive design could be put into wider production.

The wide embrace of My Own Chair offers shielding comfort, cocooning the sitter within its wing-like arm- and headrests.

My Own Chair is an iconic piece of Danish mid-century design. Created by Flemming Lassen in the 1930s, the plush and purposeful design remains as relevant today as ever thanks to its timeless form and expert artisanry.
