These mattresses have been specially made for us to match our euro sized beds. They are made by Burgess, who have been hand making bespoke luxury mattresses in England for over eighty years. Using only the finest materials and craftsmen each mattress is handmade to order. The natural materials regulate temperature, repel allergens and allow air to flow through the mattress, for supreme comfort.

Mattress Springs:

Double Decker 17 gauge pocketed springs, hand centre twine tied into a honeycomb nested unit.

Mattress Border:

28cm deep with four rows of genuine hand side stitching. Eight horizontal handles on king sizes and above, upholstery upholstery using bonded white fibres.

Solid brass ventilators finished with piped ticking.

Mattress Upholstery:

Superior Hessian Insulator stitched by hand using twine to the spring. Multiple layers of 600gsm pure bonded white cotton, loose long stranded white hair teased by hand, 1250gsm bonded pure white cotton and layers of pure new lambswool.
