A wonderfully contemporary side table designed by Warren Platner and manufactured by Knollstudio.
Platner Side Table. In the 1960s Warren Platner transformed steel wire into a sculptural furniture collection thus creating a design icon of the modern era. The furniture's unique harmonious forms are created by welding curved vertical steel wire rods to circular frames producing a moire effect and capturing the decorative gentle graceful quality that Platner sought to achieve. All metal components are finished in a variety of finishes and various glass and coated marbled tops are available.. The collection includes a dining side and coffee table.
Please note this quickship side table comes with a nickel plated base and clear glass and is available with a 4 week delivery.

Materials:
Frame: Vertical steel wire rods welded to circular horinzontal and edge-framing rods. Finish in plated nickel.
Base: Clear plastic extrusion ring for smooth bottom surface.
Top: Bevel edged plate clear glass

Materials: Galvanised sheet steel, finely structured powder coating
Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Outdoor use: suitable for utilisation outdoors on a temporary or seasonal basis, following care instructions. After prolonged exposure to the elements, clean and store away in a dry, sheltered place to ensure lasting use and avoid any deterioration in appearance.
Note: if used frequently outdoors, the galvanised version without powder coating can acquire a a typical patina over time.
