Rikke Frost
As far as Rikke Frost is concerned, one thing is certain: Life is too short for working with something one does not like. That she gets high on impressions during the Milan design week makes it abundantly clear that she enjoys her life as a designer. She was born in Southern Jutland, Denmark in 1973 and qualified as an architect from the School of Architecture in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2000. Before starting her own drawing office in Aarhus in 2004, she worked for a number of years at Hammel Mibelfabrik and Heal & Son in London. More than anywhere else in the world she likes to be by the sea. No matter what the seasons offer in the way of wind and weather. And she prefers to have wood included in her design solutions when new projects are lying on the drawing board. Inspiration comes to her from many sources. It depends to a great extent on which projects she is working on at a given point in time, and thus is focusing on. Rikke Frost has a sense of future trends, and she designs on the basis of a vision of creating forward-looking, creative and holistic design solutions. This in close cooperation with the most ambitious and exciting companies at home and abroad.
