Cassina LC15 Le Corbusier Table De Conference
A round table with steel lattice base, polished in LC colours (semigloss grey, green or black) with an oak table top, available in natural matte finish.
Le Corbusier designed a table in 1958, intended for both home decor and conferences with an organic structure that is also rational at the same time. The key to the project is the use of two geometrical figures set one against the other. The circle is a sturdy horizontal tabletop in oak and the cube is made of steel tubes, which form a weave of perpendicular levels with outstanding aesthetic value.
All the models in the Cassina collection, by merit of their artistic content and particular creative character, are protected by copyright, a legal institution that is universally recognised and safeguarded; legal protection is assured for the whole life-span of the author and for 70 years after his/her death (or the death of the last surviving co-author).
Identifying marks and production numbers
Each piece of furniture in the “Cassina I Maestri” Collection is indelibly marked with, the signature of the Author, whose copyright belongs to his heirs, the use of which has been granted exclusively to Cassina and which in the form of a trade mark, certifies the authenticity of the furniture; the “Cassina I Maestri” logotype, which incorporates the Author’s emblem as used by him as identification on his drawings, the production number which serves to place the item in the chronology of production, and tallys with the “Identity Card” (which bears the same number). This shows that a final quality check has been carried out, and allows the Heirs’ control as far as compliance with copyright is concerned. The red ring on the drawings shows where the trademark and the serial number are branded.
