Bold, playful, and unlike anything that had come before, the original Panthella was as much a sculptural object as it was a lamp. Both the trumpet-shaped stem and the hemispherical shade were designed to act as reflectors, bouncing soft, glare-free light through the opal shade in a way that felt entirely new.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eThe Originals Edition, at Full Height\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo mark what would have been Verner Panton's 100th birthday, Louis Poulsen reintroduced those five original colourways in the Panthella 500 Floor Lamp, the largest expression of the design and the one closest to Panton's original vision. Standing at 129cm, it brings genuine sculptural presence to a living room or reading corner, its wide opal shade casting a broad, glare-free pool of light.
