Poul Henningsen endeavoured to create glare-free light, direct light where it was most needed, and create soft shadows, using incandescent bulbs as a light source. Henningsen’s mathematic approach to lighting, using the logarithmic spiral, led to the development of the three-shade system in 1925-6 and the following product family, which over the years has included hundreds of different models, ranging from floor lamps to table lamps, pendants, chandeliers and wall lamps.

The PH2/1 Limited Edition 2024 is a petite version of the classic table lamp, with mouth-blown four-layered coloured glass-shades and stem and base made of lacquered aged brass. The lamp is a wonderful statement piece to add to the home, that takes its inspiration from Henningsen's original lamps designed throughout the 1920s-40s.  

The aged brass patina can vary. Please note that the brass is treated and the surface will not change over time.
