Marcel Breuer was an apprentice at the Bauhaus in 1925 when he conceived the first tubular steel chair. Named for his contemporary Wassily Kandinsky the tubular frame was inspired by a bicycle.
Materials: Frame is seamless tubular steel with a polished chrome finish. Upholstery: Natural canvas.
Glides: Opaque plastic glides shipped with each chair for optional on-site insertion to use on hard floors.
