A Lounge Chair can be both functional as well as decorative. We have a range of contemporary and design classics to choose from. Whether you are looking for a statement piece or a chair with specific requirements here are some important things to consider when choosing the right chair for you.
How do you like to relax? Are you looking for a piece that offers the best comfort for the user, consider a design with a high back for increased back and neck support, arms can offer stability when standing up from being seated. Do you like to recline or feel cocooned? Would you like a matching ottoman so that you can stretch out and put your feet up?
Where will the chair be positioned? How will it be used and how much space do you have? Smaller rooms will suit a chair with a smaller footprint and petit proportions. Tonal or lighter coloured upholstery will give the illusion of more space and not overwhelm a space whilst lounge chairs on a grand scale, with generous proportions, in darker tones or contrasting, statement colours are best suited to larger interiors.
Lounge chairs can be flexible pieces of furniture, they can be moved around easily or possibly swivelled depending on the design to accommodate alternative seating situations, engage with others in the room or to take in a view.
