The Palissade Lounge Chair Low sits close to the ground with a reclined, unhurried posture that is immediately inviting. Designed by French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY, it is built from powder coated or hot galvanised steel — engineered to be left outside through the seasons and to become more characterful over time rather than less. The symmetrical geometry is precise and considered, giving the chair a visual simplicity that works as well on a terrace or balcony as it does in a garden or café.

Choosing Your Finish
The Palissade Lounge Chair Low is available in five powder coated colours — Anthracite, Cream White, Iron Red, Olive Green, and Sky Grey — as well as Hot Galvanised Steel. The powder coated finishes are clean and consistent; the Hot Galvanised finish has a rougher, more industrial character that develops its own patina over time. Please note that Hot Galvanised has a deliberately rough industrial finish.
