This is an original genuine Vitra piece.
Plastic armchairs were first presented as part of a New York Museum of Modern Art competition Low Cost Furniture Design. Their organically shaped plastic seat shells were later combined with various different bases and manufactured in their millions. In their latest version made of polypropylene the armchairs now offer even greater sitting comfort.
Materials: Seat shell: dyed-through, recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable.
Note: due to the composition of the recycled material, the seat shell colours exhibit very subtle specks of pigment.
Base: wooden base in Stained maple. Steel rod cross struts in basic dark.
Origin of wood: maple (Acer platanoides) from Western Europe and/or Poland.
Dimensions: Width 62.5cm x Depth 60cm x Height 83cm (seat height: 43cm)
Stock piece in Pebble Re shell with Dark Maple legs and black hard floor felt glides.
