Carl Hansen & Son Furniture & Lighting Collection

Manufacturer: Carl Hansen & Søn | Designer: EOOS, 2016

    Designed to Embrace

The E015 Embrace Lounge Chair was designed by EOOS for Carl Hansen & Søn in 2016 with a single purpose: to provide the kind of comfort that makes you forget you are sitting in a chair. The frame is a continuously visible wooden structure - a three-piece rounded back assembled with characteristic finger joints, and legs that give the chair its distinctive, grounded stance. The three-dimensional cushion wraps around the frame and the sitter simultaneously, with soft upholstery that feels as considered as it looks.

The seat is lowered and the cushions are generously padded, creating a relaxed, enveloping posture that is genuinely different from a standard lounge chair. A matching footstool is available - contact us for more information.
