    A Circular Centrepiece for Relaxed Seating

    The Planner™ Round Coffee Table is the most naturally sociable format in McCobb’s relaunched table series, a circle has no head, no hierarchy, no wrong angle from which to approach it. At 80cm diameter it is generous without dominating, and its low profile keeps the room open above it. The structured marble surface and powder-coated steel base reduce the table to its two essential elements. Its pared-back construction gives the design a clarity that still feels at home in contemporary interiors.

    The marble is honed to a matt, uniform finish, tactile rather than reflective. Charcoal marble is deep black with striking white veining and fossil traces from shells and snails, each slab unique. Cream marble has a warm base with red veining formed by metal minerals accumulated over 100 million years, with brown fossil sediments and white marbling. No two tops are identical. The base is TIG-welded 12mm steel rod with flat steel bar supports and pressure-cast zinc feet, powder-coated matt black throughout.
