Interlocking Wood Beneath Clear Glass

The PK60 coffee table places three interlocking veneer forms beneath a circular glass top, making its construction visible from every angle. Designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1952 and brought into production in 2022, it draws on the sculptural approach of modern art, including the work of Isamu Noguchi.

Choose black coloured ash for a graphic contrast with the clear top, or clear-lacquered Oregon pine for a warmer expression with visible grain. The low-iron, fully tempered glass leaves the pressure-moulded base in view, while cork spacers sit between the materials. Its open form works as a focal point without becoming a solid visual barrier.
