    An Extended Profile with an Adjustable Backrest

    The Knoll MR Bauhaus 100th Anniversary Edition Adjustable Chaise Longue extends the collection's flowing steel frame into a long reclining seat. Removable upholstered cushions rest on leather-covered structural straps, balancing the polished chrome with softer surfaces. Its open frame keeps the structure visible beneath the upholstery rather than enclosing it in a solid base.

    Hooks behind the backrest allow its height to be adjusted, with an overall height range of 68–90cm. This is the longer adjustable model, measuring 179cm deep, rather than the 120cm-deep fixed MR Chaise Longue. Allow room for its full footprint when planning a reading corner or a quieter part of the living room.

    The MR collection belongs to Mies van der Rohe's early explorations of steel furniture. Its curves recall earlier iron rocking chairs, reinterpreted through a restrained combination of metal, straps and upholstery.
