    A Flowing Curve for Reclined Relaxation

    The Knoll MR Bauhaus 100th Anniversary Edition Chaise Longue extends the MR's curved steel structure into a fixed reclining form. Removable upholstered cushions follow the frame, while the open space beneath keeps its elongated profile visually light. This is the fixed model, not the longer MR Adjustable Chaise Longue.

    Polished chrome contrasts with the soft cushions and leather-covered structural support straps. At 62cm wide and 120cm deep, the chaise offers a distinct place to recline without the footprint of a full daybed. Give it room beside a window or within a seating arrangement where its sculptural side profile can be appreciated.

    The MR collection belongs to Mies van der Rohe's early explorations of steel furniture. Its flowing curves recall earlier iron rocking chairs, translated into a pared-back combination of metal, straps and upholstery.
