    Woven Texture, Sweeping Steel Arms

    The Knoll MR Side Armchair Rattan combines a woven seat and back with the sweeping curves of tubular steel arms. The rattan adds warmth and texture to the metal frame, while its open weave keeps the chair visually light. Seen from the side, the arms follow the cantilevered profile, giving this version a more enclosing outline than the armless MR Side Chair.

    Designed in 1927, the MR replaces conventional rear legs with a curved steel structure. Use the armchair at a dining table or as an occasional seat beside a desk, allowing room for its deeper profile. The 68cm arm height is worth checking against your table's underside if you want to tuck it beneath the top.

    Available with a polished chrome frame or an ultra-matte finish in Onyx, White or Dark Red.
