    The Knoll Saarinen Womb Relax Lounge Chair gives you room to settle in your own way. Eero Saarinen developed the Womb in response to Florence Knoll's wish for a chair she could curl up in, shaping its broad seat, sweeping back and generous arms around a more informal way of sitting. It is a natural place for reading, conversation or simply putting your feet up with the matching ottoman.

    The Relax version retains that enveloping silhouette while using polyurethane foam over a metal structure with elastic belts. This construction replaces the fibreglass shell of the classic version, bringing a more flexible foundation to the upholstered form. Slender steel rod legs keep the chair visually light despite its generous proportions.

    Choose fabric or leather upholstery with a polished chrome or painted black base. The range of finishes makes it possible to give the chair a quiet presence in a reading corner or let its sculptural outline become the focus of a living room.
