    An Enveloping Place to Unwind

    The Fritz Hansen Ro™ Lounge Chair takes its name from the Danish word for tranquillity. Designed by Jaime Hayon and first introduced in 2013, the Ro™ is an icon of considered comfort. Its deeply enveloping shell and gently curved backrest invite you to slow down and settle in.

    Available in two base configurations: the JH1 features Hayon's signature trumpet-shaped brushed aluminium legs, their flared, conical profile extending the fluid lines of the shell to delicately rounded tips. The JH2 pairs the same shell with solid oak legs finished in clear lacquer, lending a warmer, more organic character to the design.

    The Ro™ is fully upholstered in a range of textiles, including Christianshavn, and can be specified in a single fabric or a mix of two: one for the shell, one for the cushions. For a mixed-fabric configuration, please contact our team. A matching Ro™ Footstool is available in the same base and upholstery options.
