Carl Hansen & Son Furniture & Lighting Collection

Manufacturer: Carl Hansen & Søn | Designer: Anker Bak, 2023

A Workspace That Disappears When You Need It To

Designed by Anker Bak in 2023 and drawing on his own experience of Japanese compact living, the AB019 is a wall desk that does exactly what it needs to and nothing more. A slim tabletop in FSC™-certified oak veneer or matte black laminate, supported by stainless steel wall mounts. The result is a workspace that disappears into a room when not in use.

The tabletop has a softly rounded edge that doubles as an armrest, and solid oak magnetic cover caps conceal the wall mount fixings. An optional drawer in solid oak, the AB020, can be fitted underneath the tabletop or positioned on top as a laptop stand, with a discreet cable opening for chargers. An AB020S drawer support is also available. Comes flat-packed for easy assembly.
