Manufacturer: Fritz Hansen | Designer: Arne Jacobsen, 1955

A Writing Desk Built for Smaller Rooms

Arne Jacobsen designed the FH3605 as a writing desk stripped back to its essentials: clean lines, considered materials and an open, uncluttered silhouette. The reduced footprint makes it a natural fit for a home office, a study corner or any room where space is at a premium, without sacrificing a proper working surface.

The tabletop comes in either walnut veneer or black coloured ash, paired with a choice of chromed or black powder coated steel legs, so the desk can be tailored to sit quietly within most interiors. An optional document drawer sits neatly beneath the top, made from solid wood to match the tabletop finish, keeping everyday items close at hand while preserving the desk's simplified form. The drawer can be fitted to either the left or right side, and only one can be installed per desk, though it can be added at any time after purchase.
