Popular Lighting Ranges
At Innes, we stock some of the most celebrated and enduring lighting ranges in the world of contemporary design. These are the collections our customers return to again and again — pieces with genuine design heritage, exceptional quality, and a timeless relevance that transcends trends.
IC Lights by Flos: Designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos, the IC Lights family is a study in refined minimalism. Slender stems support perfectly spherical glass shades in a range of configurations — suspension, floor, table, wall, and ceiling — making it one of the most versatile and cohesive lighting families available. Quietly confident and endlessly elegant.
Glo-Ball by Flos: Jasper Morrison's Glo-Ball for Flos is a masterclass in considered simplicity. The softly luminous spherical shade — available across floor, table, and pendant formats — brings a warm, diffused light to any space without demanding attention. A piece that works in almost any interior.
2097 Chandelier by Flos: The 2097 chandelier — originally designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1958 — is one of the great statement lighting pieces of the 20th century. A branching structure of bare bulbs creates a dramatic yet refined overhead presence, as relevant in a contemporary interior today as when it was first conceived.
PH Lamps by Louis Poulsen: Poul Henningsen's PH lamp series for Louis Poulsen is one of the most important lighting designs ever produced. Developed from the 1920s onwards, the PH system uses a carefully calculated layering of shades to eliminate glare and produce a warm, even light. The PH 5 and PH Artichoke remain two of the most sought-after pendants in the world.
Panthella by Louis Poulsen: Designed by Verner Panton in 1971, the Panthella is an icon of Scandinavian modernism. Its distinctive mushroom-shaped shade — now available in both full-size floor lamp and compact table lamp formats — produces a beautifully diffused, shadow-free light. The Panthella portable brings the same design to a cordless format.
Akari by Vitra: Akari is produced by Vitra under licence from the Noguchi Foundation. Originally conceived by sculptor Isamu Noguchi from the 1950s onwards, the Akari light sculptures use traditional Japanese washi paper over bamboo frames to create organic, glowing forms that are as much art as they are lighting. No two spaces are quite the same with an Akari in them.
George Nelson Bubble Lamps by HAY: HAY's Nelson Bubble Lamps are produced under licence from the Herman Miller archive, bringing George Nelson's iconic mid-century designs to a new generation. The softly glowing sculptural shades — available in a range of forms including the Saucer, Cigar, and Ball — add warmth and character to any interior.
Hashira by Audo Copenhagen: The Hashira collection from Audo Copenhagen takes its name from the Japanese word for pillar or column. Clean, architectural, and quietly striking, Hashira table and floor lamps bring a considered material presence to the spaces they inhabit — a refined addition to the Audo lighting range.
Original 1227 by Anglepoise: The Original 1227 is the lamp that started it all for Anglepoise — designed in 1932 by George Carwardine and still in production today. Its spring-balanced arm mechanism allows precise positioning, making it the definitive task lamp. Available in a wide range of colours, it remains one of the most recognisable and best-loved lights in British design history.
