Laceby Manor Spa
We were delighted when our long standing client Roger Burnett and his son Alex popped into the gallery to discuss an exciting new project at their Golf Resort in Laceby, North Lincolnshire. They wanted to create a Spa experience that rivalled the best in the country and understood that quality furniture and lighting would play an important part in creating a truly special customer experience.
Starting with a bare shell, we worked closely with Alex, who has an amazing eye for interior design, to provide the right pieces, at the right price. This included furniture for the reception and waiting areas, treatment rooms, sun loungers and relaxing lounge chairs for the outside spaces as well as the swimming pool and changing room areas. Furniture for the F&B areas. A second phase of the project involved supplying furniture, lighting and accessories for a number of guest rooms for overnight stays. Furniture from several brands were mixed and matched together, these included: B&B Italia, Softline, HAY, Skagerak, Audo Copenhagen, Skagerak, Carl Hansen, String ,SCP, Montana, Pedrali, Fritz Hansen & Kaiser Idell.

String Furniture
String System shelving was used in the reception areas for displaying their lovely gift ranges, in their bar area for storing glasses etc, and also created a very clever wardrobe solution for their Spa bedrooms.
Spa Bedrooms
In order to create a luxurious contemporary feel to the rooms, and have adequate storage for clothes, a make up area, a work desk and a coffee station, the Spa used the String System to create a great storage solution. This looks just as good when empty as it does when full of items.
String Museum NM&.045 wall shelves were also used as bed side tables to complete the contemporary, clutter free Scandi look and help to ease cleaning of the rooms.
Spa Reception
Laceby Spa also used String System shelving in the main Spa areas. This includes 2 areas of shelving , used in the reception areas to merchandise the Spa accessories that clients can buy on their visits. They included shelves for display, drawers for storage and magazine racks.
A String System is also used in the bar / cafe area for glass and other accessory storage, continuing the modern feel throughout the building.
A mixture of Ash, Oak and Walnut wood veneers were used to add interest to the unit and make it less imposing and more zonable for product groupings.

HAY
HAY's Palissade outdoor furniture was used in the outdoor F&B areas for seating, alongside Pedrali tables as well as for by the outdoor terraces and in the post treatment relaxation room. HAY's Can Lounge chairs and Mags Soft ottomans were used in the relaxation rooms.

Skagerak
The stunning Riviera teak sun loungers by Povl B. Eskildsen for Skagerak allows guests to chill out in the sun in real style. They look equally as good with and without cushions and so are great both in and out of use. The cool Cutter teak stools and benches were used in the changing rooms, whereas the Georg stool was specified in the guest bedrooms as a neat seat that takes up very little space and matches up with the String desk / dressing table.

Audo Copenhagen
Audo Copenhagen was used extensively in the F&B areas as well as the Spa chill out spaces. The Eave dining sofa was used to create cool, informal eating spaces that are also great, being benches, for allowing extra visitors to squeeze in when needed. They are also great for segmenting up rooms without making them feel too enclosed. These were matched up with the Audo Co upholstered dining chairs. The Knitting chairs and Brasilia Lounge chairs have been used to allow guests to chill out in extreme comfort and style.

Carl Hansen
Carl Hansen make timeless pieces of furniture that add an instant hit of quality and sophistication to any project. The CH20 wooden "Elbow" dining chairs with a beautiful tan leather seat were chosen as the final key element for each guest bedroom, whereas the BK11 teak lounge chairs allow guests to lounge by the pool in style.
