Manufacturer: Audo Copenhagen
Designer: Ib Koford-Larsen Design
The Penguin Rocking Chair draws inspiration from the American modernists of the 1950s and 1960s. The chair's construction is characterized by an open design, featuring a curved back and seat upholstered in fabric or leather, all held together by a sturdy steel frame. This chair, created by furniture designer Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1953, embodies Danish cultural heritage and design history. With its elegant silhouette, sculptural form, and organic lines and curves, it remains a contemporary masterpiece that resonates even more strongly in the present.
Materials: Powder coated steel, curved plywood, solid ash, foam and upholstery.
Dimensions: Width: 57cm x Depth: 95cm x Height: 75cm (seat height: 42cm)
Also available with upholstered seat with veneer back and veneer seat and back - please see the info sheet or contact one of our team for more information.
