The OW224 Rungstedlund Dining Table was designed by Danish designer Ole Wanscher in 1962, who drew inspiration from English furniture from the 1700s – as demonstrated by its slender form and curved silhouettes. Wancher’s sculptural design and precise craftsmanship are clearly evident in the sleek and refined table. With the launch of the Rungstedlund Dining table Carl Hansen & Søn is expanding its collection of Ole Wanscher furniture.

The elliptical dining table features a tabletop in mirrored crown cut, bookmatched veneer, highlighting the beautiful, tactile grain of the wood. The square, vertical table legs of solid wood slope slightly on the two inner sides which are joined in a rounding that gives the table an almost floating appearance.

Extension plates are available in oak or black and grey MDF. The table can be extended with maximum two plates. OW224 Rungstedlund Dining Table is available in FSCtm-certified oak with an oiled finish.
