Manufacturer: Flos | Designer: Marcel Wanders, 2007

A Hidden Garden Above the Table

Skygarden 2 gives Marcel Wanders' decorative pendant a generous 90cm span. The smooth outer dome keeps its silhouette simple, while the white plaster interior reveals floral relief when viewed from below. Inspired by the ornate ceiling of the designer's former home, it brings architectural decoration down into the room rather than leaving it overhead.

Its scale suits a substantial dining table or a spacious interior where a smaller pendant would feel lost. Plaster, opal glass and stainless steel combine a richly detailed underside with a restrained exterior. Choose Glossy White, Matt Black, Matt Gold or Matt Rusty Brown, each retaining the white interior that defines the Skygarden family.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: shade Ø90 × H45cm. Cord length: 170cm.
  • Materials: plaster dome, opal glass diffuser and AISI 304 stainless steel decoration.
