A Column of Light on a Tripod Base

SuperWire F turns the light source itself into the centre of the design. Two hexagonal glass modules rise above a steel tripod, their flat panels held together by polished aluminium elements. Slender LED filaments run vertically through the transparent structure, giving the lamp a warm, even glow while leaving its construction visible.

Designed by Formafantasma, the tall, narrow column brings a sculptural presence to living rooms, open-plan spaces and architectural interiors. The widely spread legs give the base a distinct silhouette, with a nod to the Castiglioni brothers’ Luminator. An integrated dimmer lets you adjust the light to suit the room.

The custom LED light source is designed to be removable for repair or replacement rather than making the whole lamp disposable. Contact Flos for guidance on replacement parts and servicing.
