Originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for professors at St. Catherine’s College at the University of Oxford, England, Fritz Hansen’s elegant Oxford™ chair has since been upgraded for a new generation of workspaces to offer supreme sitting comfort and customisation to suit every modern need.

Blending form with function, the low-back 3171T is set on a five-star base with a fixed seat height Available without armrests, the minimalist chair is cushioned for comfort and lumbar support for a more natural sitting posture.

The low-back 3171W is set on a classic five-star base with castors and a fixed seat height. Available without armrests, the minimalist chair is cushioned for comfort and lumbar support for a more natural sitting posture.

The Oxford™ chair is made of moulded sliced veneer. It comes fully upholstered and is available with a low or medium back, with or without armrests. The fully upholstered shell is available in a wide range of textile and leather types. The chair is available with a four-star fixed base as well as the classic five-star base with or without castors, either fixed or height adjustable with tilt mechanism. Castors are either with aluminium or black plastic housing. A round glide is available for the five-star base. The base comes in two finishes; satin polished or powder coated aluminium.
