Every collector has a number they dream of. This is it. No. 007 of just 150 Egg™ chairs produced worldwide in Fritz Hansen's landmark 150th anniversary limited edition - Forest Green Pure Leather, warm copper star base and an engraved brass plaque bearing its exclusive edition number.
Ironically, despite being the chair most associated with Bond-villain sophistication, the Egg™ has never actually appeared in a James Bond film. It has, however, graced the sets of Austin Powers, Zoolander, Men in Black, Lucky Number Slevin, and 2001: A Space Odyssey - most memorably as the throne of Jacobin Mugatu (Will Ferrell) in Zoolander. The chair's organic enclosure and commanding presence make it the natural choice for anyone who prefers their design with a little drama.
A true mid century icon, the Egg remains one of the most recognisable Danish lounge chairs ever made, its enveloping curve as striking now as when it was first shaped by hand.
What Makes This Edition Exceptional
Released to mark the close of Fritz Hansen's 150th anniversary year, only 150 of these chairs exist in the world. Each one carries an engraved metal plaque bearing its unique edition number - a permanent record of its place in design history. This is No. 007.
Of the 150 produced, just two were allocated to the UK in UK-compliant foam. Innes holds both. When they are gone, they are gone. There will be no restock, no reissue and no further UK allocation.
