    Four Seasons Stool As a leading Modernist architect and furniture designer Mies van der Rohe elevated industrial age materials to an art form. Created in 1958 for the Four Seasons Restaurant in New York designed by Philip Johnson this cantilevered chrome frame barstool reflects van der Roheäó»s signature timelessness and meticulous craftsmanship.

    The Four Seasons stool is distinguished by its remarkably lean profile and clean contemporary seat.

    KnollStudio logo and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature are stamped on the base.

    Materials: The frame is in bent steel with chrome plating. The seat is an upholstered leather foam cushion over a plywood form.
