Ergonomic Comfort Without the Technical Appearance
The ACX is the tenth office swivel chair developed by Vitra in collaboration with Antonio Citterio — and the one that most quietly disappears into a room. Its automatic synchronised mechanism adjusts to a wide range of user weights without any manual configuration: sit down, and the chair responds. The only adjustment required is seat height. That makes it particularly well suited to shared and collaborative environments where the chair changes hands throughout the day.
Sustainability is built into the ACX from the ground up. Components are kept to a minimum to simplify service and maintenance. All covers are removable and replaceable. Parts are made from recycled materials wherever possible and can be separated and recycled again at end of life — making the ACX up to 100% recyclable depending on configuration.
The ACX Mesh is distinguished by its semi-transparent knitted backrest — a highly breathable mesh textile in recycled polyester, available in nine colours and combinable with a light or dark frame.
