This is an original genuine Vitra piece.
The shape and structure of the Soft Pad Chair is identical to that of the Aluminium Chair. However, stitched leather upholstery renders it softer and more comfortable and makes for an interesting contrast with its slim aluminium profile. Vitra grants a 30-year guarantee on all chairs of the Soft Pad Group (see certificate of guarantee).
The upholstery on all Soft Pad chairs has been modified and now utilises an innovative viscoelastic foam. This increases the chairs comfort whilst also ensuring the lasting resilience of the upholstery.
Backrest and seat: EA222 chair with high backrest. Five sewn-on cushions with polyurethane foam upholstery in Leather or Premium Leather (latter version with topstitching). Side profiles and spreaders in die-cast aluminium, with a polished or chrome-plated finish or powder-coated in deep black.
Seat mechanism: adjustable backward tilt.
Armrests: die-cast aluminium, with a polished or chrome-plated finish or powder-coated in deep black.
Base: four-star base in die-cast aluminium, with a polished or chrome-plated finish or powder-coated in deep black.
Optional: without armrests upon request.
