    Charles and Ray Eames developed the Soft Pad Chaise ES106 for a long-time friend, the film director Billy Wilder. He had expressed the desire for a recliner that would allow him to take a short nap during shooting breaks. With its softly padded cushions and leather upholstery, the Soft Pad Chaise provides a comfortable spot to lie down and relax.

    Vitra has produced the Soft Pad Group for many decades to a consistently high quality. On the basis of this experience we are now granting a 30-year guarantee on all chairs of the Soft Pad Group.

    Materials: Upholstery/cover: padded leather upholstery, six fixed and two loose cushions.

    Base: die-cast aluminium, powder-coated (smooth).
