The String shelving system is one of Scandinavia's most enduring design icons — conceived in 1949 by architect Nisse Strinning and his wife Kajsa, and still as relevant today as the day it was born. Its signature wire panels and modular logic make it infinitely adaptable: stack it high, spread it wide, mix open shelves with closed cabinets, or layer in colour with accessories and drawer units.
